Internships
No internship places available right now 🙁
We offer a full-stack, remote internship for junior developers who want to learn to write code for today’s systems.
The main things first:
- Our technologies – React, Node.js, NestJS, Typescript. The full list of our tech stack is here.
- The internship lasts two to three months.
- Two months for a voluntary internship,
- 2–3 months if it is through your school or uni.
- The internship is unpaid 😭.
- You pick the start date yourself.
- The internship can’t be combined with school or a job.
- You can do it from any corner of Lithuania.
Why is an internship with us cool?
- A fully remote workplace.
- Finish the internship successfully and we offer you a job.
- Truly flexible working hours. We only have a daily standup at 11:00, and that is the one time you have to be there. Otherwise you can work at night if you like.
- Daily stand-ups with your colleagues and a senior-level developer.
- Your own senior-level mentor / celebrity.
- Work on real projects, not internal / meaningless ones.
- We make you code a lot and code well – in a few months you become a real low-junior.
- No pointless meetings.
- No pointless tasks like, say, copying info somewhere – just coding.
What do we look for in an intern?
- Fresh memes / trolling, puns etc. – we like a good laugh, as you can see.
- Absolute dedication to learning to code. If you are learning to code but also go to dance classes, do photography or have some job, sorry, not gonna happen 😥*
* Reddit got mad about this point, so let us be clear – during the internship, learning to code should be your main professional activity - Basic coding skills:
- You should be able to write a CRUD, even a wonky one,
- You should understand what a git rebase is, etc.,
- Display: flex should be a no-brainer.
What does a day of the internship look like?
- You get up by 11:00,
- We do the daily stand-up,
- You code one of the tasks in Jira,
- You push the code,
- A junior and a senior review it,
- You fix the code,
- You push the task to staging,
- The client gives feedback,
- We push the code to prod.
How do I apply for an internship?
- Check whether our vibe matches yours.
- Do our test task.
- Send us the link to your git repo.
- Our senior will review the task and give you feedback.
- If you clear our acceptance bar, we set up a meet to get to know each other.
- If we vibe, we sign an internship agreement.
- ???
- Let’s fooken go m8.
If you have more questions, feel free to ask Tomas or Domantas on LinkedIn, or anywhere really.
